For some reason, the word patricide has been an extremely hot search trend over the last few hours. I am really not sure why this is so. I do know, however, what the word patricide means…
Patricide, in its most simple definition, is when a son or daughter kills their father.
There, now you all know what it means!

The word patricide was mentioned on tonights episode of 2 1/2 Men.
In the opening scene the little boy asked what it meant, the father told me it meant to love your father. (cue laugh track)

The little boy on Two and a Half Men threatened his father with patricide on last night’s episode. I guess people who didn’t know what it meant ran to their pcs to google it afterward. Hence, the hot trend.

The reason (in my opinion) that is so high is that it was referenced on Two and a Half men last night. The young character asked what it meant, and I’m sure many people were also curious about it. Hope that helps!
